About Me

Hi there! my name is Yijiang Liu. I am a designer, HCI researcher, developer, also a independent music creator.

I recently graduated from Tsinghua University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and also completed a certificate program in Artificial Intelligence Innovation. Additionally, I studied as a visiting student at UIUC, where I took courses on Machine Learning and its mathematical principles. I have also pursued computer development-related knowledge through various online platforms such as Coursera and edX.
My research focuses on embodied behavior and cognition, exploring how our cognitive habits and intelligence emerge from simple, repetitive processes in daily life. Guided by my research aspiration in this field, I hope to one day realize a design that integrates our senses and cognition, creating an experience of synergy between mind and body that resonates with our behavioral patterns.
